This two day hands-on experience will provide guided instruction into teapot building and design. Incorporating traditional methods from Yixing, China as well as contemporary practice, we will discover approachable hand-building methods to create teapots: spouts, handles, lids, and body. Ever wanted to create a better fitting lid for covered jars? Or wondered how to make a spout that pours as good as it looks? Learn and utilize tips and tools for crafting your own beautiful and highly functional teapot. The class will begin each day at 10am and run til 5pm, with a break for lunch.
